Energizer Solar Rechargeable 9-LED Lantern

The Energizer Solar 9-LED lantern can be a portable area light or a comforting amber night light when the power goes out.

Dual Power to Keep You Going

With two potential power sources: solar energy or three D Alkaline batteries, this light will stay bright when you need it. Charging the light in the sun for 5 hours provides 2 hours and 30 minutes of usage, while three D cell batteries provide 165 hours of continuous usage.

Flexible Light Source

The nine LEDs in the lantern can be used in one of three modes: 360-degree bright-white area lantern (entirely open), 180-degree bright-white area lantern (half closed), or as an amber night light.

Advanced Charging Technology

The Solar 9-LED lantern uses the latest in solar-charging technology to charge the lantern in even the lowest light conditions, like early morning or overcast skies. When charged for five hours in the sun, the light still provides 66 lumens of powerful bright-white light.

Energizer Solar Collection

Energizer Solar lights leverage the latest technology to deliver advanced, renewable lighting solutions. Energizer’s hybrid platform harnesses the power of sunlight, with the added benefit of alternative energy through batteries, self-powered winding, or car charging.

Designed for both outdoor and emergency use, Energizer Solar lights offer a combination of renewable power and exceptional performance with LED light sources that never need replacing.

ANSI Standards

Actively involved in developing ANSI (American National Standards Institute) industry standards for the flashlight category, Energizer looks for ways to provide consumers with the best light solutions possible. Energizer uses only LEDs that are shockproof with a higher light output and life span than competitive incandescent bulbs. ANSI Standards help measure these types of qualities and much more so that consumers can make better buying decisions when shopping for a flashlight.

Solar lantern thats actually bright! Very useful Hi everyone, this review was copied and pasted from my blog……Yeah I know it’s the lazy way, but basically the same thing I would have said here, except more detailed.Enjoy the review! The lantern has an orange and white plastic exterior, giving center stage to a clear acrylic light diffuser. The diffuser holds 9 led bulbs and is fully adjustable. Lifting the diffuser spreads light a full 360 degrees, while folding will cover an area of 180 degrees up to 10 feet away…

Love it! Bought this lantern after a major snow storm left us without power for a week. It’s great. You don’t waste your batteries by having them sit in the device. The solar panel gives enough energy for 2.5 hours of light. I plan on keeping it handy and storing fresh batteries in my emergency kit along with a battery-powered radio, emergency contact information, non-perishables, blankets and other emergency supplies. That way, I’ll have the light nearby and if the power goes out, the solar panel will…

Not the brightest LED lantern but does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’ve had a fascination with flashlights and lanterns for years. I have purchased many different types over the years. I was interested in this for the solar recharge aspect, making it useful when the power is down for an extended period of time or away from power such as camping. The lantern performs precisely as advertised. It recharges in 5 hours of sunlight. It puts out light for at least 2 ½ hours using the rechargeable pack. Using D Cell alkaline (Energizer) it has exceeded 160…
