A “large” large Nice jacket, but the large had too much material in the arms and chest. I usually find large jerseys snug, so a little surprised at this fit, which is descibed as slim on the Gore website. I’m returning and will try a medium.

Breathable, durable, packable, water resistant This is a good jacket for its intended use that is built to last. It’s not the lightest and smallest but compresses down to easily fit in a jersey pocket (but don’t plan on anything other than your house key in with it). The windstopper fabric reduces wind chill about 95%, and, even without any vents, the material is remarkably breathable so you aren’t marinating in your own juices at the top of a climb. I can adequately regulate temperature by slightly opening the zipper pulling up the cuffs a bit (cuffs have both elastic and velcro so comfortable and will stay put). I wouldn’t want to depend on this jacket in an extended downpour, but it has kept me dry in occasional showers and on a long ride in mist and drizzle on the Blue Ridge Parkway.It’s a good fit for general cycling but not super form fitting; however, this allows adequate room for layering and year-round use and it’s comfortable off and on the bike.
