A fantastic all round bike (used for touring, racing, commuting, pleasure) I just cycled across the USA with this bike (6261 km) without a single hitch. Although it is not designed for touring the sturdy construction gave it great rigidity to deal with the heavy load and long miles of sometimes rough road. It is worth mentioning that the frame has both back and front eyelets, something I was not sure about when I bought it. Also seeing as it seems the frame is overkill in sturdiness (I think they copied a carbon fiber frame and made it out of AL) it means that drilling extra holes and so on can be done without having to worry to much about compromising the frame integrity (I had to add two holes because I wanted to bolt my pannier rack on instead of having the conversion connectors). As for the components I would recommend you change the breaks as the one its comes with are rather feeble. Everything else is sure the cheapest/ lowest end components but held up just fine the entirety of the ride. Furthermore something I had not considered before headed out it…

Good value if you are willing to put some time and effort into it. Good bike and good value. I am on a budget and I purchased this bike to commute to work and it has been doing a good job so far. Everything on the classified adds around the bay area cost about the same for something used or much more. The box arrived slightly damaged but contents were ok. It was pretty easy to assemble without help and with some basic tools. Brakes, seat, wheels and handle bar were quick to install and adjust and I went off for a quick ride. Did some more adjusting and left the derailleurs for another day which did need adjusting. Day two I spent about two hours adjusting both derailleurs, I was doing it incorrectly so I had to start over couple of times, after watching some quick instructional videos I got it done. In the end I got that working fine and learned how to do it. I think any bike you don’t buy at the expensive bike shop is going to need adjusting, it did not discourage me and some things were not easy but I got it done with basic tools and willingness to…

Perfect for the Price – And more! I bought this to start my training for the MS 150 (if you haven’t heard of it, look it up!). This bike is surprisingly light. The bike comes in a few parts so you will have to put it together and tighten appropriate bolts. You may need to purchase some if you don’t have them. I picked up a multi-tool from a local bike shop and it worked sufficiently.First ride – Whoa! Does this bike cruise, or what?! I’m generally pretty careful when I bike due to a lower back injury but going fast and far on this thing is entirely too easy. It was obviously well oiled. The chain could use a little tightening and I’m going to replace the brakes within the next month or two but for the price, you really honestly cannot beat it.I’m going to buy this bike for my friend for christmas, too!
