Great on unpaved roads! I got these tires for my Trek Fx to replace the smooth bontrager tires original to the bike. I was tired of slipping and sliding on the gravel roads by my house. With these Kenda tires I’m much more comfortable on unpaved roads, and they’re plenty fast on paved roads as well. I highly recommend.

Good winter tire for the price, but pain to mount on the rim! I bought these tires for my Fuji Touring bike, to replace my summer Schwalbe Marathons, specifically so I feel a bit safer riding in the winter. These tires do have an aggressive thread. I rode them in 1/2 inch of fresh dry snow today (on a very cold day) and they performed ok. The threads do get clogged up in dry snow, which makes the tires lose traction (but most tires will do this). On icy patches, these tires are useless – there is absolutely no traction – you go a-flyin’… But – the only…
